Until now I have never once walked out of a movie, and I've seen Matt Damon's The Great Wall. Formulaic to the point of embarrassment, it re-hashes the same tired idea from the previous film, namely, a socially awkward teen attempting to balance his sense of responsibility with his desire to get laid. It's never really apparent why Spider-Man is so essential to the fate of the world anyway, and the writers are too lazy to bother explaining it. I couldn't stop laughing at the dialogue and phoney acting. Did the stars even read the script before signing on? Retain some self respect and don't see this, please.

The greatest miracle of this movie is actually making Mysterio a real badass and a serious threat. Previous Spider-Man movies won't even touch Mysterio with a 10 foot web. One of the best scenes in comic movie history.
